Scheherazade - The One Thousand and One Nights

The One Thousand and One Nights. You surely know them: how the beautiful and wily Scheherazade saved her life by telling the Caliph one thousand and one stories, one each night.
This is how things went in the book. In the game, it is a little different: after the one thousandth night, Scheherazade went to bed and fell into an enchanted slumber from which no sage, Hakim, or Fakir could wake her.
Nobody, apart from you, the Chosen Ones of Scheherazade, the persons on which she based the stories she told to the Caliph.
Only you can save Scheherazade and the Caliphate of the Eternal Moon.
Are you ready to venture into a land of hot sand and tall minarets, scimitars and flying carpets, genies and lamps, heroic orphans and evil viziers?
If you are, Scheherazade is your game!

Here Scheherazade perceived the light of morning,
and discontinued the recitation. How excellent
is thy story! And how pretty! But what is this in
comparison with that which I will relate to thee in the
next night, if I live, and the Caliph spare me!
And the Caliph said, I will not kill her until I hear the
remainder of her story.”

"This RPG is tightly written and focused with an evocative layout and art that fits the theme and concepts perfectly. Players will have some storytelling might of their own and the choice to forge their own destinies if they are willing to struggle against fate. If you liked Aladdin the cartoon or dream of genies and flying carpets I recommend giving Scheherazade a try."   EnWorld   Charles Dunwoody

"Well written, fresh and inventive. Creating characters is easy but allows for some truly unique protagonists, and the rules allowing players to narrate stories with in-game effects is a stroke of genius! " Francesco Nepitello

"Umberto and the SpaceOrange42 team did an amazing job in respectfully and honestly adapting so much lore and history into a beautiful looking and beautifully laid-out game. Character creation is super easy, and overall the mechanics are very easy to pick up - however the biggest thing I think this game really has going for it is excellent art and overall a cohesive motif. Pulling its inspiration from the original Thousand and One Nights tales, Scheherazade is a fantastic piece that is well worth its full price. I look forward to seeing more in this universe in the future."   Comics, Clerics, & Controllers d20 Roll: Nat 20

I want to point how stellar the book's layout and art is in this 171 page PDF. Both are beautiful and very evocative of the setting presented in Scheherazade.
This is a great game, it has compelling mechanics and feels authentic for the setting it presents. I heartily recommend it to anyone who is a fan of Aladdin, One-Thousand and One Nights, or Al Quadim.  CrossPlanes

"Der Eindruck, der vom ersten Lesen und Anspielen des enthaltenen Abenteuers zurückbleibt, ist der eines kleinen, aber feinen Rollenspiels, das sich nicht unbedingt für dauerhafte Runden eignet – außer vielleicht bei knallharten Fans orientalischer Märchen – aber für Cons oder spontane Spielabende eine schöne Ergänzung darstellt." teilzeithelden.de     Luise Loges
